safarilogoApple has released Safari 5.1.5 just two weeks after the release of 5.1.4. The update is a minor one, however, with just one noted bug fix:

Safari 5.1.5 contains a fix for an issue that could affect website usability when running Safari in 32-bit mode.

The issue with 32-bit mode had been noticed previously by several of our readers.

Safari 5.1.5 can be downloaded from Apple's Safari download page or via Software Update.

Safari 5.2 was seeded to developers earlier this year as part of the Mountain Lion preview release. Among the new additions are a unified address/search bar, new persistent Reader icon that is blue when available and grey when inactive, and new URL styling to highlight the domain the page is on while deemphasizing other aspects of the URL. It should be available later this year.

It feels snappier :D

Psst, I realise you didn't get the memo. But Safari has been out for like, 8+ years now. And with every update there was a forum thread about it. And in every one of those threads there was always some corny little dork that posted "It feels teh snappier! lulzz!" Yes, really.
You know thats like, Old. Right? As in, it was old long before you even thought about registering here. I think it was funny once. Hmm, actually no, it wasn't really ever funny. And it didn't really get any funnier after this many years and this many threads about Safari updates.

Shed the cheese kid! It's 2012.

Wait for it... Safari is getting better. It's ok on Lion but a bit slower compared to Chrome.

The new Safari in Mountain Lion DP2 is a real SCREAMER though! It has some nice improvements and it's really fast.

Uploaded. No significant difference, but I am using Firefox and I have been using it since I bought my iMac. Plus, I use it on my Laptop.

how would you expect to notice a difference if you do not use it?

I love it, other than the occasional youtube video that doesn't play

ClickToPlugin fixed playback issues for me. It gives you a bunch of options for video formats. YouTube Cleaner is also handy :)
