Steve Jobs biopic, "Jobs", is now available on Netflix's streaming service for U.S. customers. Directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starring Ashton Kutcher as the Apple co-founder, the film is free for U.S. customers who subscribe to Netflix's $7.99 monthly unlimited streaming plan.
Originally released in August 2013, the independent film received mixed reviews with many critics saying the movie focused too much on Apple and not enough on the character of Jobs, providing only a "skin-deep portrait" of the complex figure who lead Apple to greatness. It earned a 27% approval rating among critics and a 41% audience approval rating on movie review site Rotten Tomatoes.
"Jobs" also can be purchased via iTunes for $19.99 in high definition or $14.99 in standard definition. A 24-hour rental option is available for $4.99 (HD) or $3.99 (SD).
Update 1:10 PM: "Jobs" is no longer available for streaming on Netflix. It is unclear why the film was removed from the site and if the unavailability is only temporary.

With just three days to go until the iPhone Duo is released, Apple is getting ready for the launch. Behind the scenes, the App Store now has screenshots of Apple's built-in apps running on the Duo. We've seen some apps in marketing materials, but images of the ones we haven't seen give us an idea of what it will be like using the iPhone Duo day to day.

Apple has temporarily removed Keynote, Pages, and Numbers from the App Store, just after releasing an update that added iPhone Duo support and a new Intelligent Assistant.
It is not clear if the apps were removed intentionally, or if it is a bug. Apple has not said when the apps will be reinstated, but if it was in error, they should return soon.

Apple today sent out invites for an experience in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 28, and the "Pro and tell" tagline on the invitation likely means that the rumored MacBook models with touch-enabled OLED displays will stick with MacBook Pro branding instead of the once-rumored "MacBook Ultra" name.

Just watched it yesterday. It was entertaining and well done and not once did it lose my attention. Not a perfect movie, but by no means was it the crime against humanity that some Apple fans make it out to be. :rolleyes:
The biggest criticism I can make of it is that it felt sort of cartoony and exaggerated at points, but I think that was actually the intent.
not the greatest film, not the worst. the trailer's narrative was probably better than the movie's, and of course there are some inaccuracies, but as an enthusiast i enjoyed it well enough. better than Transformers or some crap, which im sure plenty of the naysayers eat up w/ a spoon...
