T-Mobile Offers Sprint Customers $200 Credit Per Line to Switch

sprinttmobileT-Mobile has announced a second "Un-carrier Unwrapped" promotion that offers Sprint customers a $200 bill credit for each line switched to a T-Mobile Simple Choice postpaid plan starting Thursday, November 26.

The offer is valid for Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile postpaid and prepaid customers, with no device trade-in required for the bill credit.

Sprint customers can still take advantage of T-Mobile's Carrier Freedom offer, which provides up to $650 towards a balance owing or to pay off early termination fees (ETFs) with an eligible device trade-in.

Just switch any Sprint number – including postpaid, prepaid, Boost and Virgin Mobile – over to a T-Mobile Simple Choice postpaid plan starting this Thursday, November 26 and you’ll automatically get a $200 credit on your bill. That’s $200 multiplied by as many lines as you switch. For a family of four, that could mean $800 extra, and for a business with 10 employees, we’re talking about a $2,000 credit!

This limited time offer is part of T-Mobile's monthlong "Un-carrier Unwrapped" holiday promotion that began with three months of free unlimited LTE data for all Simple Choice postpaid customers earlier this week.

T-Mobile plans to unveil additional "gifts" over the next month, with a new gift coming at least once per week. T-Mobile CEO John Legere confirmed on Twitter that gifts are coming soon for AT&T and Verizon customers.

Wow, things are getting interesting. T-Mo has the freedom to do this, but the blood letting that is occurring with Spring means they have less $$ to keep cutting the price
They're doing such a great job with real passion and excitement, I'm eating up T-Mobile keynotes like I used to with Apple's. And I'm in the UK, I should have absolutely no motivation to watch them. John Legere gives the consumer what they need at a great price, then when they make more money from it, they just throw the profits back into the business and increase service, speeds, offer better deals, etc.

That sort of attitude makes me wish Legere was the CEO of Apple :D

This is it. This is the final straw for me. I've got to switch now.

I know there are people who say Sprint works for them, but that's honestly surprising and very rare. With all the traveling I do, I've yet to be in a city where I could say that their coverage is "good". The best I've gotten is "decent", which of course means nothing to me. I know I beat this dead horse in every Sprint-related thread, but man... it makes me so mad that I've put up with them for this long.

Never saw WiMAX. LTE coverage and speeds were awful. Spark is nonexistent. And I've yet to see this new "LTE Plus". I'm tired of waiting for these 'improvements' that never fully come, if at all. T-Mobile, I'm sorry it's taken me this long.

T mobile and sprint are really are really trying to stir it up. Unfortunately att and Verizon won't bite
They'll start biting when they start seeing massive churn, because people realize that TMO's signal in most metro areas is as good or better than them.
