newitunes122logoApple today released iTunes 12.4.3, a minor update that fixes a bug that could cause playlist changes made on iPhones or iPads to not appear in iTunes. Following the update, syncing should function as intended, with playlist changes showing up across all devices.

This update resolves an issue where playlist changes made on other devices may not appear in iTunes.

The new 12.4.3 update can be downloaded through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.

Today's iTunes update comes two weeks after an iTunes 12.4.2 update that fixed an issue causing playback issues when listening to Apple Music tracks shorter than 60 seconds.

I wonder if this fixed the issue that caused nearly all my song ratings to go away randomly while using iCloud Music Library?

It really irritated me because I LIKED the convenience of iCloud Music Library and had to give it up because it corrupted my song ratings. I had to restore from backup to get them back, and couldn't use it anymore because every time I'd turn it on, it'd delete the song ratings again.
There's a rumour going around that iCloud Music is a steaming pile of meta data destroying turd.

any body know if they have put back "create mp3 Version' in the left click drop box????
I Had To Revert to iTunes 12.3.3.17 because they removed it in iTunes 12.4.

Not with this update. I wish they would restore that option.

I think Apple be best to kill iTunes in its current form. What is needed is each functionality separated out into a few dedicated apps; music, movies, apps, books, podcasts. All separate apps on the dock, all with a store, all presented in a consistent style, but importantly separate apps, not tabs or drop downs in one large program.

As for managing, syncing and backing up devices, this should happen in the background when on wifi or plugged in automatically showing up on the dock. A lot of the device management experience needs to be automated further.

iTunes is currently a one stop shop for everything, but it's just too feature packed to find anything especially if you're a new user. Too many things have been grafted onto iTunes over the years and it has no clear focus.

thanks man..... don't know why they removed it because its used by most dj that need to edit music
You can still use File-Convert in the main menu, but I liked the right-click option. Guess that was too simple for Apple's liking.
