This is worth signing up for Apple TV+! I was expecting a cheesy comedy, but it's much more than that. One of my favorite shows this past year. If you're a fan of the show Scrubs, you will like this! Bill Lawrence is behind both of those shows, where it's a comedy, with the formula of great character development and their personal dramas coming through here as well. Can't wait for season two!

Any other Brits watched it? The trailer makes it look like it's a string of tired US clichés about the UK with a laugh track, but would be interested to know if it avoids that.
I’ve watched half of the series so far and really enjoying it. There is no laughter track either

Same. I was initially hesitant to even watch it, as I expected some kind of awkward, fish-out-of-water cringe comedy. Was very pleasantly surprised at how much heart and depth it had.

Not a Brit (I'm German), but clichés about UK vs. US or about football vs American Football are mostly just window dressing. The pilot has a few of them, as it is about Ted arriving at his new job, but they don't show up all that much afterwards. And, anyway, by the end of the first episode it's very much clear that this is a show about characters and their conflicts, not about cultural differences. And, luckily, the characters are all very well-developed and very fun to watch.
