Deals: Rare Sale Arrives for HomePod Mini, Get the Blue Model for $89.95

B&H Photo is discounting Apple's blue HomePod mini to $89.95 this week, down from $99.00. Only the blue color option is on sale at this price, and it's in stock with free expedited shipping and delivery estimates beginning around August 3 for most locations in the United States.

This isn't quite an all-time low price on the HomePod mini, but it is among the only deals we tracked on the speaker throughout all of 2022. The last major discount was during the 2021 holiday season, and since then deals have been nearly nonexistent. If you're interested in the blue version of the HomePod mini, be sure to visit B&H Photo before the sale ends.

Rare? It's on sale frequently at Costco and Sams (multipack). I guess at those places you need membership, but it has been a deal at Best Buy a number of times too.

Do not purchase a HomePod mini as a speaker for your Mac. Airplay is not up to this task. I got one to use as a speaker for my 13" M1 MacBook Pro and it has been a disaster. After many calls with Apple support, no solution was found apart from the excuse "wifi interference."

It looks cool, but I'd never buy one again. It needs to be plugged into the wall to get it to work. I can't even plug it into the usb-c port on my monitor. It also keeps disconnecting from my iPhone. It would be a better product if it were Bluetooth, and not WiFi. It should be a speaker version of the airpod.
It either uses more power than your monitor provides or requests a power profile that your monitor doesnt support, that's not exactly a design flaw my dude, it would be true of many products. Mine in my living room is plugged into an anker power strip with a USBC port just fine, no need for a separate brick, and I've used one plugged into my work laptop's TB dock on my desk in my home office just fine. The problem is your monitors power delivery, not the homepod.

Oh, look - the iPaperweight(tm) is on sale! (I have one, that's exactly what it's doing in the closet)

No onboard streaming from SXM, not interested. Siri functionality remaining a horror show, not interested.

One of the most disappointing products in Apple's history, a speaker that's basically a paperweight if you don't have an iOS device or Mac
