Elevation Lab Launches TagVault Strap for AirTag

Elevation Lab, known for its range of accessories for Apple devices, today announced the launch of the TagVault Strap, a new case that's designed for the AirTag.

The TagVault Strap is designed to mount to a backpack or camera strap, and it has been created to prevent the ‌AirTag‌ from being removed. The TagVault Strap is made from a glass-filled composite body, and it uses Swiss machined self-driving screws that go through the strap.

It comes with all the hardware needed, and it features an all-black design that keeps it from grabbing attention. The TagVault Strap is also waterproof, so it keeps the ‌AirTag‌ protected even in less than ideal conditions.

The TagVault Strap can be purchased from the Elevation Lab website or from Amazon as of today.

Have to say am a bit interested in something like this.

All of the screws fell out of mine, but I was happy while it was in one piece.
They just announced they were launching it. "today announced the launch of the TagVault Strap"

We're you joking here or did you get one before the launch somehow?

Cool idea, but seems like you could just cut the strap if you stole a backpack. I wonder how much force is needed to pry it free. If only I had a YouTube channel...
AirTag is NOT an anti theft device. Apple intentionally made it so that it will notify the thief if there is an AirTag that is moving with him.

A drill will disable any AirTag, a 1/8 inch hole kills them.

AirTags are only useful if you misplace the item, not if it is intentionally stolen.

They already sell the same thing as a pet accessory ('https://smile.amazon.com/TagVault-Pet-Waterproof-Ultra-Durable-Collars/dp/B09DQSK52B/ref=sr_1_7?crid=1OBRPYQ99AEWU&keywords=AirTag+holder+pet+collar+screw+on&qid=1662665555&sprefix=airtag+holder+pet+collar+screw+on%2Caps%2C157&sr=8-7'). I tried it and wasn't impressed. The back plastic plate seemed pretty flimsy.

I'm sure there are applications where this looks better, but give me something slimmer. This looks more like it should be attached to a Pelican case or suitcase.

Gotta love how telling the product pix are. Arc'teryx and Patagonia are among, if not the, most expensive brands in outdoors products. Then again, Apple targets a similar spendy demographic as well as adhering to a similar minimalist visual design philosophy.

The true test of whether Elevation Lab is in the same class as [S]Arc'teryx and[/S] Patagonia, though, will be if it has a lifetime, no-questions-asked warranty on its products.
