It's really starting to show, all the complexities of programming tons of different plattforms and devices, combined with the obligatory yearly release cycle. Most of the software engineers are working on next year's bells and whistles. The shareholders are as always demanding even the impossible, and Tim Cook is gladly dancing to their tune.
What exactly is "really starting to show"? Do you not remember Leopard, a release so buggy that Apple had to put out Snow Leopard, a release solely focused on fixing bugs and performance issues? There's always been bugs, there's always been pressure to deliver new features. Sonoma is incredibly stable compared to many older Mac releases.

I'm seeing it, but I'm not sure I'm ready to jump from Monterey. Maybe, the mid-December 14.2.1 and iOS 17.2.1 and watchOS 10.2.1?
Sonoma is very stable.
Not jumping is probably justified if you are not pushed to do it by your apps or care about possible change in power consumption etc.
