$1,499 is the price Apple should have charged if Tim Cook wasn't such a shamelessly greedy corporate scumbag who wants to milk customers for as much as he can.

Ordinarily I'd feel like a schmuck for paying $2K for a 14" Windows laptop, but then I remind myself it's 1 lb lighter than this and has an Eyesafe ('https://eyesafe.com/') certified display.

Apple needs to do more.

So the two specs you're interested in are sheer weight and some gimmick called Eyesafe? LOL, ok!

But whatever you do, don't go looking up how much "blue light" you get exposed to in plain old daylight.

512GB. I'm interested in the demand for such a laptop. Personally, I don't have a lot of software installed, and I'm almost at 500 GB w/o a bunch of video. Of course one can add some pretty speed external storage, but that takes away (slightly?) from portability, simplicity, etc.
I have 25 terabytes sitting in the basement on a NAS. Does it matter how much local storage my Mac has? 512 is plenty if you're relying mostly on cloud and not stockpiling.

Work issues me a 512GB and I'm editing 4K video all day long. It's fine... everything big goes to a Petabyte storage array.
