Spain is being devastated by climate catastrophes. There's nothing more urgent than opening Apple stores and shopping malls?
BTW, my heart is with the victims in Spain 🫶.

C'mon Apple.

Population of Spain is 48 million
Population of Finland is 5.6 million
Average income in Finland is substantially greater than in Spain

Yet, in Spain, one Apple store per 4 million people.
In Finland, 0 Apple stores for 5.6 million people.

In Portugal, 0 Apple Stores for 10.5 million people. Not even in Lisbon!

Spaniard here, I really appreciate the support but I'd guess this is totally unrelated, it's not like Apple decided last week to open a Store. The announcement obviously is related to the Christmas season.

I agree that is not fair for Finland to have 0 Apple stores, but Madrid (city and region) has lot of rich people and Apple makes their numbers and market statistics.
Still I don't understand why Portugal and Finland have 0 stores

Population size is just one of the factors Apple considers. A major factor is demand. Apple has sales data from authorized resellers and its online store, so they know which countries and cities have the highest demand for their products.
