Why is there excitement about a new retail store opening?

I can never figure this out.

In my experience trying to explain why you're excited about something to someone who really isn't never goes anywhere.

Dig the new wallpaper, just wish it had a dark mode background. Bright white is too much!

Why is there excitement about a new retail store opening?

I can never figure this out.

Personally I'm in upstate NY and my nearest Apple store is between 1.5-2 hour drive away.

Which is ... whatever ... but you definitely get a whole different level of service in those stores compared with anywhere else (Best Buy, Verizon, etc.).

I would be excited if we got another Apple Store in my city especially if it were closer.
I’d be sad if one closed.

An apple in an orchard of plums (梅田). Makes sense to have another store on the opposite side of the Yodo

nice.

regarding the logo itself, i think that the logo designer probably was looking to be thematically aligned with the interior of GrandFront Osaka.
Here are photos from the web showing the interior of the centre.
