Apple Arcade Adding These Four Games Next Month

Apple today announced that four additional games will be added to the Apple Arcade library in the first week of November.

Apple Arcade Hero
Football Manager 26 Touch will be available on Apple Arcade starting Tuesday, November 4. The latest version of the soccer manager game features improved graphics, official Premier League licensing, and women's soccer.

Three more games will be added to Apple Arcade on Thursday, November 6, including two spinoffs of the iconic "The Sims" franchise:

Apple Arcade is a subscription service that provides access to hundreds of games across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. All of the games are free of ads and in-app purchases. In the U.S., Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month, and it is also bundled with other Apple services in all Apple One plans.

Apple Arcade can be accessed through the App Store, and in the new Apple Games app.

I don't play many games on my iPhone or iPad, but Apple Arcade has many solid games. I wouldn't pay separately for it but as part of Apple One, it's been enjoyable and is a solid service.

I think it's basically morphed into a sub for parents to stick in front of their kids, and that's about it.

More kids games.

I guess that's the consumer Apple is targeting with Apple Arcade.
Too young to target with IAP's and lootboxes; so target their parents with a paid subscription instead.

I dont know if its Apples' obsession over doing everything their own way, but imagine if partnered with Nintendo.. or Microsoft.. heck, even a big 3rd party studio.
The hardware capabilities are now there...
The problem is that nobody wants to work with Apple.

They are obnoxious self aggrandizing "teammate" who wants all the credit and everyone to do everything on their terms.
