Would have waited for series 12 if 11 was still stunted.
Actually, the series 12 is rumored to come with a completely new SoC, built with a smaller process node, much more efficient and powerful. If you don’t mind waiting, I think it may be worth it.

Could we get some 3rd party devs to do an intermittent fasting app that is *completely* watchOS based with zero ties to the phone?

Main view/screen should display current fasting status e.g. "fat burn", "ketosis" "autophagy" etc. tapping more can display expanded paragraph description with small icon.

Edit start time - Ability to edit the start time on smartwatch. This way we can press start at any time and scroll back to when it started *without the phone*.

**Hide the “end fast” button.** It should never be on the main screen.

That area (main screen) should be reserved for information on the users' current fasted state, e.g. "fat burn", "ketosis" etc and then by tapping that, one could see a scrollable paragraph or two of text explaining the current fasted state.

Thoughts / feedback?

can someone make this?

thanks

The watch needs more than a new SOC. It needs some new faces, a store for faces and perhaps a way to fully control a workout, from beginning to end, without using the touchscreen, at all. It was borderline unusable when running in the rain.

Yes you can pause a workout with the buttons. That's not the same.

Yeah yeah, I speak as a non-Apple Watch user. PI only have a Mi Band 10. Obviously those with an Apple Watch know better in what areas it’s lacking. But I’m pretty sure there’s much to it than a new SoC.

I would buy it, as long as it was a single payment. Devs, forget subscriptions, they are less and less popular among customers, unless they are the so called “hybrid subscriptions” (you keep the perks up to that point even if you stop renewing the subscription). Subscription fatigue is a thing.
