Foldable iPhone With Max Storage Could Near $3,000
Apple's foldable iPhone could cost close to $3,000 when maxed out on storage, according to alleged leaked pricing shared over Chinese social media.

Weibo-based leaker Instant Digital claims the iPhone Fold will come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations, with approximate prices starting around $2,320 and topping out at roughly $2,900 for the 1TB model. It's important to keep in mind that these figures are converted from Chinese yuan, so the final U.S. pricing (plus tax) may differ. But even taken as ballpark numbers, they're pretty eye-watering.
To add a little perspective, you could buy a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip for less than the estimated price of Apple's entry-level foldable. The 1TB model of the iPhone Fold could even approach the cost of two iPhone 17 Pro devices with equivalent storage.
Instant Digital has a solid track record, having accurately predicted iPhone 17 Pro details ahead of launch, including its 256GB base storage and improved telephoto camera, so the alleged leak carries some weight.
We should know for sure later this year. Apple is expected to launch the iPhone Fold this September.
