If they add a blood pressure sensor to the next one I'll be buying it. Sounds like size was one of the big issues for that type of sensor, so it might be only in the Ultra in the first version.
Yes since iOS 26 there is now a huge demand for blood pressure monitoring.

All this does is remind me how shocking that opening $799 price point can seem, for a watch whose battery has a shelf life of a few years. But that's just me.
It is fairly expensive but for me it’s the most satisfying and beautifully built Apple device i ever purchased.

Upgraded from an early Ultra Watch 2 that did the Blood Oxygen test and displayed results on the watch to an Ultra Watch 3. The cludge work around from the patent dispute is the test result now displays on the iPhone in the Health App. Not a deal breaker but certainly. less convenient.

I do like the slightly larger display which allows me to actually read information in the small print for the watch face I use.

I can continue to use the stainless Milanese watch band from my Ultra Watch 1. I have had a new spare one in the drawer for over a year as I learned how to protect the magnetic closure of the watch without damage like I did to the very first Milanese bracelet. Expensive lesson.......
