Apple shares fell more than 2.5% in early trading today in response to Nikkei Asia's report that the company is cutting iPhone 18 Pro component orders due to weaker-than-expected demand. October orders were reportedly reduced by at least 15%, with higher memory costs and $100 price increases weighing on demand.

I feel like this happened with iPhone 8 too ppl wanted to buy they iPhone X. So this maybe the most diehard that buy right away are waiting for the Duo.
Also if it did drop independent of that it wouldn’t be surprising the 17 pro sold like crazy and the 18 pro looks the same. This says nothing about apples long term viability or ability to make money. Apple will continue to make money head over fist. No one looked at the 18 pro $100 bump and got a Samsung or a pixel which are prob less value at this point.
