Massive Discounts Hit 2026 MacBook Pro With Up to $800 Off

The 15-Core M5 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro with 24GB RAM and 2TB SSD has hit $2,399.00 on Amazon, down from $2,999.00. This one is only available in Space Black, and it's a new record low price on the 14-inch MacBook Pro, now priced just $100 more than the 1TB model on Amazon.

Additionally, Amazon has now sweetened the deal on the 14-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro with 36GB RAM and 2TB SSD, available for $3,299.00, down from $4,099.00. This is now a massive $800 discount on the new price of the MacBook Pro, and it beats the previous discount we saw earlier in the month by $200.

I'm tempted by the discount on the M5 Pro 14 inch - but have a 13 inch m5 macbook air with 24GB. Not sure I'd see much difference between the pro and air.

That 2TB storage, screen and speakers, tho...
I did that upgrade myself… 2tb the faster ram the screen, the sound, more cpu and gpu and more importantly a fan to sustain workload.….it was expensive, but worked to me.

Depending on what you do it is a great update, I was skeptical cause my MBA 13 m5 24 1tb was working fine but this is on another level.

That wifi 7 / BT 6.0 ( eh but still an upgrade lol ), additional CPU/GPU Cores,TB 5 ports, 2 fans, 2x RAM bandwidth  I still love the MBA though!!
Are you TRYING to make me spend more money? lol

Seriously though, these are true. Those additional ports, fans, and ram bandwidth do make a dif!

This is your standard sale to clear out inventory ahead of new MacBook Pro model launch.

We saw similar 20% discounts with the M4 version last year.

I just got my MacBook Pro 24GB 2 TB with a nice 700 euro discount and could not be happier.
You wouldn't be happier if it was offered with a 1000 euro discount? 🤔

I just got my MacBook Pro 24GB 2 TB with a nice 700 euro discount and could not be happier.

Will something better come out in a couple of weeks? Yes possibly, will I regret this purchase? def not I got an amazing machine ad a good price.
I got my M5 Pro to replace an M1 Pro and I am not happier.

In day to day use I see no improvement in performance and in fact see random stutters that I did not experience. I also see a delay sometimes between when I click to drag and the dragging actually starting, and for my workload this is infuriating. I believed there is something in MacOS26 causing this as my old machine was not running 26.

Why I believe 26 is the problem is that I see the same stuttering behavior on my new iPad running iPadOS26 that replaced a MUCH older iPad that wasn’t. Same exact game on both, random app crawling on the new one that never happened on the old. But at least with the new iPad I notice day to day speed improvements compared to the old.

Edit: I also see memory pressure on the new MBP with fewer apps open than on my old MBP where I never saw memory pressure, despite the M5 having 24GB and the M1 having 16GB. Same apps and workflow.
