Apple Store Down Ahead of Likely iMac Refresh [Quad Core iMacs?]

Apple's online stores went down early this morning ahead of rumors that the iMac will be refreshed with Thunderbolt and Sandy Bridge processors. New products are typically launched around 8:30am Eastern / 5:30am Pacific.

Maybe they should get a better system in place that lets them update on the fly....imagine if Amazon shut down every time they added a new product!
I'm pretty sure they do this on purpose. Closing the store adds even more excitement and media buzz to the announcement.

Excellent, I'm curious to see what their 21.5" offerings will be (praying for quad core) and if SSD BTO prices will go down.
