0817 POST 1 Mobile Patents
This info graphic from Reuters is an updated version of one the Guardian built nearly a year ago.

In a single graphic, it shows how many companies are involved in litigation over mobile patents, and how they are all interconnected. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the lawsuit coverage on MacRumors recently, Apple is at the center of more lawsuits than any other company.

How strange? Apple being sued? But how can this be? They never use anyone else's patents do they?? I thought the ipod was white because they are whiter than white?

You don't need to use other people's patents to get sued for patent infringement, you just need to use an "invention" covered by the patent. Many patents that have been awarded are ridiculously broad, then you just go to the Eastern District of Texas and the juries there will ok almost anything as infringing.

Too late. I already sued you and the previous poster for post infringement and you are already out of money.
