Oh boy... now you are just grasping at straws when nitpicking about the definition of word. Ok... Microcenter is not "regional" by definition of the word. But they are most definitely NOT a significant retailer with only 25 stores sprinkled around the country. I live in Phoenix, the 6th largest US city by population... and there is no Microcenter in the state of Arizona at all. Best Buy is a nationwide retailer with close to 2000 locations, with stores in every state in the country.

Let me address a few of your comments:
"It would take all of 10 minutes..." - Good. Why don't you take 10 minutes and look up the sales at Microcenter?

"It's not that big of a deal to suggest to the article's author to include another retailer in the listing." - It isn't a big deal to suggest that. However, my original post was a response to a post that was taking a tone of criticism to MacRumors' deals article. My response was an explanation as to why Microcenter could be left out.

"And yes, you indeed erupted in your post with your attitude, caps lock, and exclamation point." - My oh my! I wasn't aware such use of punctuation & capitalization could offend someone so deeply.

"It's just a suggestion, and I fail to see how it would adversely affect you if they added Microcenter." It wouldn't adversely affect me or any reader of this website. But it could adversely affect MacRumors... to have take extra time to look up deals at an obscure retail chain to appease a handful of posters on these forums.

Another thing... MacRumors first and foremost is a business. They are an Apple news and rumors site that writes articles, gives us free content in exchange for page views... in order to make money from advertisers on the site and referral links in articles that point to retail partners. In the case of this deals article, the Amazon and B&H Photo links are affiliate links. If readers see the article, clicks through to the site selling the item, MacRumors will make a little money. I doubt very seriously Microcenter has any sort of affiliate program.

This is how I see it -

OP makes a suggestion: Please consider including deals from this store that I like which is in most major cities around the country.

You: Shut up. It doesn't help me so it shouldn't be included at all. Also it sucks.

OP: No, it doesn't suck and, while it would not cover everyone, it would be helpful to a significant percent of the population.

I agree. Micro center always has fantastic non-sale prices. Even a quick search on Amazon reveals I can buy an iPad 2 (from Amazon) for $450.

The notice of the sale prices are helpful, but hardly the cheapest.

Micro Center is a computer & electronics store with 25 locations in 16 states. MacRumors is a USA based website with readers all over the world. At least they are posting deals from USA national chains. People in Canada and other parts of the world are left out of these deal listings. That would be like me complaining that they didn't include sales from Fry's Electronics... another REGIONAL electronics retailer. If you are a customer of these REGIONAL stores , then I am sure you already pay attention to their advertisements. It is not necessary to include every mom & pop electronic store in MacRumor deal lists!

1) Microcenter is not a mom and pop shop. It actually does millions each year in sales.

2) It has retail and online shopping. You can buy anywhere online last time I checked. Clearly you heard of the Internet since you posted using it.

3) B&H has 1 location. That location is in NYC.

4) MacMall is online only as far as I know, they may have a few retail stores in their home location area.

So again, not sure what world you live in but maybe you should research before you post.

Before you erupt at people in the comments for mentioning a suggestion, you should probably get your facts straight. Microcenter isn't regional or "mom and pop". Their locations are spread throughout the country in large population centers. It would be nice if they were included in these articles -- I had no idea the kind of deals Microcenter offered until this past week when I wandered into their store for the first time. They have 2014 MacBook Air 13"s for sale at $799 if anyone is interested.
