It's not my job to do Apple's work for them. Also sure Apple Pay is fast but chip has gotten much better and I don't mind the extra 10 seconds. The worst part is when you ask the cashier, some always look confused and some nicer ones would want to get their manager for me. In the end it really only makes my life more difficult along with longer check out time. I'd say if this was a brand new product I can tolerate the lack of support, but I think the trial period is over, at least for me. Lastly, I don't want to have to be constantly switching between the various payment.
I don't understand how it's an Apple problem that some retailers simply don't want to install the necessary equipment or enable functionality that comes with whatever they just installed. Some of these places (like Walmart) will never support contactless payment even if Apple offers to pay them for each Apple Pay transaction. At this point, if people want more places to support it they should be taking their business to places that do (and letting the places that don't know).

BTW, it's gotten better but chip is still a minimum of a second or two slower than swiping--and more like 5-6 seconds or so slower most of the time.

Come on, Logitech! Give Apple the Sierra-compatible drivers for your G700s gaming mouse so that I can go back to Sierra and have a usable scroll wheel!
