Apple Shares Full Video of Today's WWDC Keynote on its Website [Update: Now on YouTube]

Apple's WWDC keynote has wrapped up for another year, and the company this afternoon posted a full video of the event on its website. With the full presentation available on Apple.com, those who might have missed the event can now catch up with all of the announcements and reveals on their own time.

Apple typically uploads the WWDC keynote to its own website first and then shares the video on YouTube, but it could take a few days for that to happen if previous years are any indication.

Alongside the full keynote on Apple.com, both individual videos that bookended the keynote have been uploaded to the company's main YouTube channel. You can check out the videos below:

I've been on this site since 2003 and a Mac user since the 90s. I am NOT part of the "Apple is doomed" or "Tim Cook is the worst ever" crowd.

That said: this was the most underwhelming keynote I've ever seen from Apple. No new hardware is one thing, but the software they announced has SO little of interest that I really have to wonder what they're doing over there. WatchOS, as the newest OS, has the most room to grow and failed to introduce any of the most important changes, like new faces (except the one pride face), 3rd party faces, always-on, or even always-on during activities.

iOS and macOS are obviously much more mature and have a lot less room to grow, but what they announced was so minimal that both updates feel like a .X update, not a X.0.

Flame on, but I just didn't see more than one or two things to be even interested in, let alone excited about, all keynote.

So for the main OS the list of things to come are:
•A GUI feature we had in 1990.
•iOS apps that most don't use, but now take up valuable space on your hard drive.
•Improving the store so you can give Apple even more fo your money.
•Supposed 'privacy' features that won't ensure any privacy from Apple swiping what they want. (yeah, I don't trust them)
•Group FaceTime, which already existed in free programs like Skype and Discord.
•A meaningless 'stacks' function that does the same thing as existing organizational functions in Mac OSX.

So in summary, reheated repeats from previous OS's, but now with a bigger price tag and flashier advertising.

Oh, and STILL no new professional desktops.
But, hey, we have talking unicorn and poop emojis now.

Everyone clamors for stability and such, but when they do that they are lambasted for not enough new features. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I'm pretty happy with a number of things that were added. Podcasts on the watch, competitions with friends, the new workout features, and shortcuts for Siri to name a few. The bottom line is the ecosystem in its current form does much of what I want it to.

The animoji/meomji looks kinda fun, not that I will use it much but I am not the target audience for that. Not everything needs to be a productivity or pro feature, these devices are used for enjoyment too after all...

All that said.. Holy buckets tvOS might as well have not even been mentioned. Could've done one slide about atmos support and had that been it lol. Would've liked to see some kind of picture in picture mode and support for the Hue Sync app, but I knew those were pipe dreams. Other than those 2 things I cannot think of much else I would want out of the Apple TV.

I'm with this guy. Same boat, long time Apple user/ MacRumors reader. I was hoping to see at least some of the below:

* new Mail app
* new iOS design
* ability to flag text/iMessages or mark as unread
* dark mode
* more customization for widgets
* better handling of notifications
