Deals: Save $300 on the 2019 MacBook Air, Now Just $799 on Amazon [Expired]

Amazon is offering an impressive deal on the 2019 MacBook Air, offering the base model for just $799 in the United States. That's the lowest price we've ever seen and $300 less than Apple's regular price of $1,099.

The notebook is listed at $899, but if you proceed to checkout and choose no-rush shipping, the price becomes $799.

This is the latest MacBook Air model with a True Tone display, released in July 2019.

The notebook features 8th-generation Intel Core processors, Touch ID, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, the Apple T2 chip with Hey Siri support, louder speakers, and more. Note that, unlike the new 16-inch MacBook Pro, the latest MacBook Air still has a butterfly keyboard that may experience issues with sticky or nonfunctioning keys.

The base model is configured with a 1.6GHz dual-core Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, and Intel UHD Graphics 617.

Starting on Black Friday, a slightly better deal will be available at Micro Center stores for those who live near one of their 25 locations. They'll be offering the 2019 MacBook Air for just $779 for in-store pickup only, but quantities will be limited.

Pretty decent deal there, just would be concerned about the time bomb keyboard. Have a 2018 MBA and I love it, but I’ll replace it as soon as a 13” device gets the new keyboard.

Junk keyboard. No sale at any price.

Let’s hope Apple doesn’t wait all year to upgrade the rest of the laptop line to 2015 standards.

Exactly. $800 for a laptop with a doomed keyboard is still a lousy deal.

128gb is plenty as long as you dont load it up with images or video content. 128gb is plenty for 99% percent of those that do not use their mac to create work product.
I would agree, with slight modification: 128GB is fine for most of those that do not create a lot of media work product. There are plenty of people that create documents, spreadsheets and related work products that will have plenty of space with 128GB. Generally, files from productivity apps don't use much storage.

I love the comments on here. It parallels most tech people, that say.. but the key board sucks... stay away!

Tim really has held apple back. The keyboard redesign should have come out long ago. Apple laptop sales will be further depressing, except Tim doesn’t care, he will trap a lot of gullible people. That’s the way Tim treats customers. Also Tim doesn’t care if laptop sales are down as he screws you with dongles anyways.

Wish Apple had a real ceo! Not Timmy O’tool!
