iPad Air 2 takes the crown as the longest supported iOS/iPadOS ever (previously tied with the iPhone 5s). Kind of makes me wish I'd held onto mine!

Well done Apple!

So if there's anyone out there who uses "planned obsolescence" and "Apple" in the same sentence one more time: iOS 14 is your answer!

When iOS 14 will launch, the 6S will be a 5 year old phone, it was launched in the same year as the Samsung Galaxy S6, that phone is stuck on Android 7.1.

aaaaand iOS14 will last until Sept/Oct 2021 for that iPhone 6S, which gives it a 6 year latest iOS support track .. and who knows, could be getting iOS15.
