Apple Seeds Fourth Beta of watchOS 7.1 to Developers

Apple today seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming watchOS 7.1 update to developers for testing purposes, a little over one week after seeding the third beta and more than a month after releasing the watchOS 7 update.

To install the ‌watchOS 7‌.1 beta, developers need to download the proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center. Once the profile is in place, the ‌‌‌watchOS 7‌‌‌ beta can be downloaded through the dedicated ‌Apple Watch‌ app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update.

To update to the new software, the ‌Apple Watch‌ needs to have 50 percent battery life, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the ‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌.

There were no new features discovered in the first three betas of watchOS 7.1, so we don't yet know what new additions may be included in the update. It likely focuses on under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes for issues that weren't able to be addressed in the initial watchOS 7 release.

watchOS 7.1, like watchOS 7, is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 3 and later.

At the end of the day however, even if there were improvements that you liked ... if you are not a developer ... you are not going to be able to get the beta.
Again, not the question! Although, installing a developer beta on the Apple Watch is not as difficult as you seem to think. I ran the watchOS 7 beta this summer, and I think I did the watchOS 6 beta last year. Not difficult, but again; not the point. 😉

Actually, the beta is available through the public beta program; new this year.

Sorry...I’m not calling you a troll. I know your question is legit. I’m saying that the person you were asking is a troll. Won’t get an honest answer from them.
Ok, cool. I thought you were saying 'of course there aren't any improvements or new features, and everyone knows that, so you must be trolling' ... or something along those lines. 🤣

Funny. But I hope you were just joking - it's an honest question. I just got my S6 last week and I don't mind installing a beta on it, but only if it has some benefit - new features, better performance, etc. If it removes functionality (I read that some people lost the blood oxygen app on one of the betas) then why bother?

So, what in watchOS 7.1 is better/improved?
