AT&T

At AT&T, you can get up to $800 off the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. The requirements for this offer include the trade-in of an existing smartphone and adding a new line or upgrading an existing line on an AT&T unlimited plan.

You'll receive up to $800 in bill credits in equal amounts over 30 months. If you trade in select smartphones, this means you can get the 64GB iPhone 12 at no cost. View this offer and more at AT&T.

Verizon

Verizon is offering a similar deal for the iPhone 12 as AT&T, with the chance for customers to get the iPhone 12 at no cost with a smartphone trade-in on an unlimited line.

Verizon's deal is a bit more dense, however. For new Verizon customers, you'll get up to $550 off with the trade-in and adding a new line on an unlimited plan, and then an additional $250 can be saved if you're switching to Verizon. The same offers are available for iPhone 12 Pro.

For existing Verizon customers, you can upgrade and save up to $440 with trade-in. When purchasing any 4G or 5G smartphone (valued over $699.99) and activating it on an unlimited plan, all customers will get the new "Marvel's Avengers" video game for free. View this offer and more at Verizon.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering up to $850 off the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, when trading in an iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, or iPhone XS Max.

Customers can also get two iPhone 12 models and two lines on T-Mobile Essentials for $100 per month. Just add two lines of service on an Essentials Plan for $90 per month with autopay.

Then purchase two iPhone 12 models on a monthly payment plan, trade in two eligible smartphones, and T-Mobile will provide up to $850 back via monthly bill credits. View this offer and more at T-Mobile.

All of these deals are trash if you only have a single line. I’m much better off keeping my $30/month AT&T prepaid plan and buying the phone outright.

The best thing about iPhone 12 is that it’s finally beard friendly.

Your facial hair doesn’t catch!

These deals are always for new customers. Do any of these carriers want to retain current customers???
if you're on verizon there is no way you would switch to AT&T. hence no need to have retention specials

The Big Cellular deals are usually a huge rip-off and wind up costing you a lot more. I've been with T-Mobile for 9 years. All they offered me in trade-in for my iPhone XR toward a 12 Pro was $196! I politely told them where they could shove that so-called deal...
You should be able to get a $200 Visa card on top of your trade-in.
I’m not qualified for this offer because I have been with TM for less than 5 years.
I’m considering ditching and buying from Apple an unlocked iphone one and get a pre-paid. Still I have a family plan with 4 lines for $140+Netflix. Not so bad.

I'm in the same boat. Single line on Verizon. The perks with the unlimited 5G plan are more of a ball and chain than perks. I guess the carriers are continuing with the confusion so customers can't really compare the value of what their offering with their other plans and other carriers' plans.
