My man.

Black and white is going to be controversial. It is bold in this day and age. Audio and video are equally as important as storytelling, and from just a few post here you can see some will never watch it solely based on it being filmed in black and white. I couldn't imagine directing a movie and immediately losing out on people.

I am not in the camp that rule a movie out for that reason, but I know many people who feel like others here.

A Shakespeare movie with two leads in their 60s isn’t going to lose many over a thing like that. That guy up there bowing out already was never going to watch it anyway.

Always been a fan of Denzel, but I don’t even sup to Apple TV and never will

Young Frankenstein is another example of a black-and-white film from a color era, and a fantastic one at that. Given the Coen's excellent take on the Odyssey, I'm looking forward to seeing this Macbeth.
