Not a chance. But if they did, I’d jump.

Those AirPods Pro are a pretty great price. I’ve not been tracking, nor needing them. But at this price, upgrading from my AirPods is enticing.

If the "4" was a "3", maybe it'd be interesting

As it is, they are still way overpriced

So tempted but ill wait until blackfriday/cyber Monday to see if the price goes down. For me I would need to buy an actual case to carry the headphones so thats an additional hidden cost to consider.
Perhaps its that I don't carry them too often, but these things are built like tanks. I purchased a Waterfield Designs case for them and have not used it once. Usually I slide these into my backpack in the same compartment as my laptop (just outside of the sleeve for the laptop) and really don't worry a bit about them getting damaged. Either that or sometimes I just carry them by the headband in my hand if I'm not carrying a bag.

With "cheap" plastic headphones (I'm talking about the popular Sonys, Bose, etc), I would certainly want a case because their build is naturally less durable and susceptible to breaking. I honestly just don't worry bout it with the Max. The only thing I worry about getting damaged is that mesh on the headband.

Everyone has their own preferences, so I understand the sentiment about the case-- obviously I started out feeling that way too. And my use case is such that I really don't seem to need one. If I was flying or even just cramming a lot more stuff into a bag, I would use the Waterfield case. I just haven't needed it and actually like the Apple "sleeve" that these come with.
