That also means that there is no new products before January 21, 2023 (or more likely March to have a bit of distance).

Because if there would be a new MacBook, all the people from Christmas would come and return it to buy a new one!
I don't think we will see a new Apple product until Spring. Most likely in March/April time frame. Apple is pretty much done at this point. I do suspect we might see Apple AR/VR headsets by 1st quarter of 2023.

Yes, but do you buy AppleCare+ for a month or two just in case something happens?

I only ask ‘cause I do. My luck something would happen to a product I didn’t want, I’d get stuck with it and have to pay for a repair.

👊😝👍
This extended return policy definitely makes it appealing. I wouldn't recommend buying an AppleCare + for only a month or so. In addition, you can sign up for a monthly plan that way you are not stuck with it.

But do you think if you’re within the return period time, something happens and you use the AppleCare+ to fix it, you’d be able to still return the device? 🤔
That is a very good question. I'm 99% sure you should be able to return the device. I baby my Apple products so much that I don't even pay attention to AppleCare.
