I ordered the orange stripe one with my Ultra 2. I like how it matches really well with the warmer tones of the titanium and the orange on the action button.

And then snatched up the old blue stripe one while I still can from Amazon, for a little more subdued appearance. I would've loved if they did this one with the orange on the left instead of the light gray. This blue is also nicer:

Maybe. Would you prefer leather? What is your solution for obtaining leather from low-carbon, non-barbaric sources?
Leather is obtained from cows we kill to eat. Nobody is sacrificing cows just to make watch bands out of their skin. Even for the most expensive LV bags and clothing, the leather is sourced from farms dedicated primarily to produce meat. It is technically a "waste product" from the meat industry. If we stop using genuine leather all together, it will be just a part of the animal we would not use anymore (creating more waste because we will continue to kill and eat cows). Therefore, creating an artificial product that probably takes thousands of years to decompose in the environment (as Apple did), does not seem to me to be more eco-friendly than using genuine leather which is at the end a biological product that is subject to bio-degradation faster than anything else and is already widely available as I just explained. There are very few animal that we kill just for their skin (alligators, caimans, etc), and the sale of most of these skins are nevertheless prohibited in most countries and Apple has never ever used such products. If I say something wrong, please explain yourself.

If Apple cared so much about the environment, they would have switched to 100% recycled paper/carton for their packaging instead of using these shiny white boxes. If Apple cared so much about the environment, they would have designed their products to be the easiest to repair in the industry with standard screws and no impossible to remove glue. If Apple cared so much about the environment, they should have implemented repair program where Apple does not make any money from repairing broken items providing a service at a net cost basis to the consumer, who in turn is not obligated to buy a new product vs. pay for an expensive repair of already existing product (as it happens now). If Apple cared so much about the environment, they would have not included some still quite modern products in their obsolete category.

I love Apple and I welcome their efforts of being more eco-friendly, but when there is just marketing BS, it should be said.

So glad to see Orange Ocean Band. I think Apple got inspired by the color from MacRumors. A lot of people in here requested the Orange Ocean Band.

Here is one quick proof dated March 5, 2023.
