iPhone 16 Won't Get These Siri Upgrades Until iOS 18.4 Next Year
All four iPhone 16 models support Apple Intelligence, but some key features under that umbrella are not expected to be available until next year.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman on Thursday reiterated that Siri's ability to provide more personalized and contextual responses will not be available until March. He previously said that Siri's personal context, on-screen awareness, and deeper per-app controls will be available as part of iOS 18.4, which is expected to be released to the public in March.
All three Siri upgrades will be powered by Apple Intelligence, which is supported on iPhone 15 Pro models and the entire iPhone 16 series.
The first Apple Intelligence features will start rolling out with iOS 18.1, which
will be released in October, according to Apple. These features include writing tools, notification summaries, suggested replies in the Messages app, the ability to record and transcribe phone calls, a tool for removing objects from the backgrounds of photos, and more.
iOS 18.2 is expected to be released in December with more Apple Intelligence features, including Image Playground, Genmoji, and ChatGPT integration with Siri.
