Not bad machines if you bolt on your own NVMe in an enclosure on the back to avoid the "Tim Tax" on upgrade pricing
(if you need more storage I mean)

I see these in medical and real estate offices all the time
The epitome of form over function

The iMac is also bundled with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse making it the only desktop other then the Mac Pro still sold in that manner for consumers, education, and businesses.

The introduction of 16GB models has been a HUGE value upgrade for the Apple silicon Mac line, precisely due to these frequent Amazon sales. These machines, with a quality monitor, laptop and mouse included, are excellent deals

Regarding time to retire the 24” iMac.

While like to see a larger iMac option with a M4 pro, the 24” is highly usable with consumers, education, and businesses. The various colors are appealing to personal setups in people’s homes.

Good discount on the latest iMac. Have a M1 version and I am very satisfied with it. Not planning to upgrade but cannot go wrong by purchasing the new iMacs. Storage is costly but can use external SSDs.
