iOS 26 Beta 2 Expands Support for Order Tracking in Wallet

iOS 26 beta 2 adds full support for the order tracking feature that Apple announced at WWDC. In the Wallet app, there is an option to let Siri scan your Mail app to find all orders and emails from merchants, even if those orders weren't made with Apple Pay.

The Wallet app previously had an order tracking feature, but it was only an option when an order was made using ‌Apple Pay‌.

Order tracking was partially working in the initial ‌iOS 26‌ beta, but the functionality was limited. The Wallet app is now able to scan your email and pull in all recent order emails with Apple Intelligence.

In the Wallet app, orders can be accessed by tapping on the "..." button and choosing the "Orders" option. Using on-device intelligence to scan the Mail app is opt-in.

‌iOS 26‌ is limited to developers right now, but a beta will be made available to public beta testers in July. The order tracking option will require an iPhone that supports ‌Apple Intelligence‌.

If the only source of tracking numbers is Apple Mail, then this feature has no use for me and I'll need to continue to using AfterShip. Adding the option to manually add tracking numbers seems like a no brainer to me.

Another feature that I’m waiting to try out. It would be nice to delete the several package tracking apps I use (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Shop and AfterShip).

This will be amazing. For 5% of your orders. The rest will be missing in action because the stars and planets are not aligned perfectly for Siri.

Do you get emails from Amazon when your orders are delivered? It’s based solely on email tracking, so if there are no emails, the status won’t update.

I have the same problem, but that’s because Amazon never confirms delivery for me via email. Most of the things I order from other online retailers don’t either, but at least they ship via services like UPS and Canada Post that do provide delivery notices, and the new feature is surprisingly good at associating those with the original order (likely just using the tracking number).

The more annoying thing for me is that it seems to pick up recurring subscription email receipts as orders, even for things like Apple One and AppleCare+. That’s a lot of clutter for no real benefit.
Yes I do get delivery e-mails from Amazon. I think in one case two separate orders were combined into and delivered as one by Amazon so at least there's an explanation for that one.

I also got an order tracking put into my wallet for my Apple Arcade subscription like you. 😂😂

So they do need to put a little more Apple Intelligence into this feature.

With Amazon orders, it looks like a bunch of "Order Placed" tiles are piling up and not changing to "Delivered" upon delivery. I'm going to have to go in and manually remove them.
