Apple today released new firmware for the AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and the AirPods 4. The firmware has a version number of 8B39, up from 8B34 on the AirPods Pro 3, 8B28 on the AirPods Pro 2, and 8B21 on the AirPods 4.

$169 is not a record low price; it’s a second best price. The Apple Watch SE (2nd generation, 40mm GPS) dropped to $149 on Amazon.com (and at Walmart) around Black Friday 2024 at least for certain colorways. I have the receipt, and I’m wearing the band from that $149 watch right now. (It was a gift to my spouse. She gave me her old Apple Watch 5, but she kept her old band.)
