Since when are aluminum frames and rectangular camera bumps “features”?
If anything, they should be called drawbacks.

Oh my God. Can we please stop reporting and promoting Aluminium as a feature plus. It's an obvious cost cutting measure. Squeezing every last penny out of us all.

These camera tumors are getting huge.

I think the iPhone needs to see an oncologist.

As for the aluminum materiality, they’ll probably come up with some clever marketing — pitching it as a hybrid, specially engineered aluminum that’s stronger, more durable, and more capable than previous iterations. Kind of like when they introduced the 7000 series aluminum, making an already common, less novel material sound unique and new again.

My only gripe with switching back to aluminum is that I never use a phone case, and while my phone doesn’t drop often, it does happen occasionally. With the titanium frame, it’s held up wonderfully — no dents or marks. Its rigidity has also kept the glass front and back from breaking, cracking, or chipping. I definitely don’t have that same confidence with aluminum.

But I am sure, clever Apple will try to convince me otherwise. However, real world use might tell me otherwise.

The insanely massive camera bump, combined with the aluminum frame, seems like such a huge step backwards.

And it is so ugly.

What are they thinking??

I’m thinking… skip.

Glad they’re switching to aluminum, it’s lighter than titanium and also better at heat dissipation. Again, I don’t know how they’re going to pitch this, because the ENTIRE iPhone 15 Pro’s ad campaign was one word. Titanium. lol. Anyway, people complaining aren’t really seeing the bigger picture. Most people have a case on their phone, and I doubt anyone needs the sheer strength of titanium in a smartphone anyway. As for the back, it will be lighter and more sturdy than the back glass, which is known to break when dropped. So I actually really like this switch.
