Ooofda, those bezels need to be greatly reduced! It's not 2003 anymore.
I honestly think the bezels help usability of the device, makes it easier to hold without blocking the screen with a finger.

I might be in the minority, but I hate ultra thin bezels. It makes it hard to hold the device and use it at the same time without accidentally tapping the screen. Maybe it's a different story on phones because cases make it more difficult to do that. But for iPads, I want a little buffer on the edge.

I really have no issues with good size bezels on these.

It may not look sexy in product shots, but it's super "usable" in practice.

I love having some reasonably sized areas for my fat hands and fingers to grip with no concerns about touch interaction possibilities.

Combined with Pencil 2, my mini 6 is without question my fav iPad I have ever used. It's so perfectly portable and capable. Which makes me curious about the rumored foldable. It would be very Apple if they didn't offer Pencil support on the foldable.
