At $15 off, this is the best price we've seen on the HomePod mini in over a year as discounts on the smart speaker have been extremely rare. I got a refurbished one a couple years ago for $50 and another used at $60 with a wall mount. Definitely would never pay near $99 for one... Even $84.99 seems mehhhh. Siri really makes it not that enjoyable with the limitations.

Indeed. Wife is a Pixel user and she has no way to play music, or anything, from her phone to our Homepod Mini.

..so for now, it sits in the office as a temp and humidity sensor.

Yeah no. These will be on sale for 50-60 as we get closer to BF. I almost picked up a set last year but I’m honestly happy with my Amazon Echo setup and not looking to reinvent the wheel or deal with that idiot child Siri until/unless Apple gives me a more compelling reason to than “bright colors.”
