Watch Apple's Two-Hour 2016 WWDC Keynote in 7 Minutes

Apple today unveiled new versions of iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS, all of which are jam-packed with new features. iOS in particular was referred to as Apple's biggest iOS update ever, with major improvements to Messages, Apple Music, Siri, and tons of other minor features.

It took Apple two hours to go over all of the features in the four operating systems and it was still a lot to take in, so we made a seven minute recap video that features all of the need-to-know highlights.

Stay tuned to MacRumors.com going forward because we're going to be sharing in-depth videos highlighting new features in iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS throughout the coming weeks, and we'll be publishing detailed roundups with everything you need to know about all of Apple's upcoming software updates.

All of the four operating systems are currently available to developers only with a release slated for the fall of 2016.

This video leaves out too many parts of the keynote. It's missing the part about the new Macbook Pro, the new Mac Pro, the new Mac Mini, the new Thunderbolt Display, etc.

Why waste 7 minutes when the keynote can be summed up with one picture?

Unfortunately, it wasn't worth wasting 7 minutes, let alone over 2 hours.

When the biggest cheers came from the intro of automated-emojis, it pretty much settled it for me that I'm clearly not part of Apple's target market anymore.

Underwhelming. Some nice things, many predictable things (catching up) and A LOT of cringe worthy stuff. So much empty marketing talk. So much self congratulation. But the "magic" is gone. The new iOS seems like quite the mess. The elegant clean iMessage is turned into a garbage fire. Many other highly questionable design choices. No sight of dark mode. Or Siri continuity (so that It can pick up the convesation on / or control other device). Or working notification sync (how long do we still need to clear the same notifications on different devices?). How about some really substantial improvements to macOS, besides name change? What about VR/AR and other tech innovations happening all around us?

But most of all - with STILL no hardware updates, the Mac hardware lineup is now beyond pathetic. WWDC was the last hope for me. Mac is/was my number one reason to stick with Apple. At this point I just don't care anymore. Sure something will come, probably something nice, but I simply don't trust/like Apple anymore. It will be expensive and probably somehow gimped. Apple today is arrogant, self-absorbed, lazy, overpriced. Dishonest (selling years old stuff at same ultra high prices, claiming it's "the best we can make"). Their messiah-like statements about all they do and care is to better everyones lives are womit inducing at this point.

PS - I promise there will be less rants/negativity from me in this forum. Simply don't want to waste any more energy caring about this lame watch band seller.

I think 7 min wasn't needed. You just need 10 seconds of Tim Cook saying "goodbye."

7 minutes is 6 minutes too long given what they announced. Can't believe they rented that place for this.
