According to Streamlabs, its goal was to build powerful streaming software for Mac that blends a user-friendly interface with an innovative feature set.

Streamers will have access to tools like the Auto Optimizer, which analyzes internet speed and computer hardware for the best setting recommendations for each person's setup. There's also an import settings option for letting live streamers transfer settings from other broadcasting software.

I'm amazed they took the time to do this, market has to be pretty small.
It might be small in terms of streaming video games, but it would be great for content creatives (artists, craftsmen, etc.) who might have Macs and are now required to use BootCamp or a Windows VM to stream their work. Now having a native macOS option would improve that experience and performance.

It's about friggin' time!!

The fact that if you wanted to have music in your streams, you had to use a program, that needed another program to integrate that. Hopefully this is the full package that let's you stream on mac to Twitch, with your choice of background music, and no involved hoops to jump through.

Is OBS actually owned by Logitech? It shows them as a Diamond Tier sponsor. Same as Nvidia.

OBS Studio is not the same thing as Streamlabs OBS. Streamlabs OBS is a commercialized fork of OBS Studio run by a different company.
