Apple's 'Next Big Thing' Reportedly 'Just Weeks Away'
Apple's so-called "next big thing" is "just weeks away," according to comments shared by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman on his new Power On podcast.

Specifically, he is referring to Apple's long-rumored smart home hub.
"It's basically like an Amazon Echo Show built by Apple for the Apple universe," he explained. "Features like FaceTime, facial recognition, a brand new operating system. This is Apple's next big thing and it's just weeks away."
Gurman recently reported that Apple plans to unveil the home hub, a new HomePod mini, and a new Apple TV 4K on Tuesday, October 13.
He previously reported that the home hub will have a roughly 6-inch square display and will be available in tabletop and wall-mounted versions. He said the tabletop model's screen has a polished metal arm that connects to a metal, round base with perforated speaker holes, similar to the iMac G4 computer that Apple released back in 2002.
The device will be available in up to four colors, according to a proven leaker.
